Converting a bathtub into a walk-in shower is a common remodel that improves accessibility, modernizes the bathroom, and often boosts resale value. YES, you can convert a shower to a bathtub and vice versa, but each direction has its own process, costs, and considerations. Both are common bathroom remodels but involve demolition and plumbing work.

Acrylic shower wall/surround options and kits you might consider if you’re doing a tub-to-shower conversion — these panels replace tile and drywall with durable, easy-to-clean acrylic surfaces that make the install quicker and lower-cost

Custom tile High-end/custom: $8,500+
Option 2
Costs more than basic acrylic shower but looks higher-end and lasts longer. We start with a Professional waterproof base that you tile over; ideal if you’re doing ceramic/porcelain tile walls/floor for that custom look.
